I have completed the GFF application form. When do I get my GFF Card ?
Your GFF Card will be processed after you have made at least one departure and your registration data have been recorded at the GFF database. When ready, your GFF Card will be mailed to your correspondence address. It would take a minimum of 4 (four) weeks for processing and mailing until you receive your GFF Card.

What is the purpose of the temporary card on the application form ?
You will use the temporary card each time you make a departure activity in order to record your mileage, before you are assigned a permanent GFF membership number and received a permanent GFF card.

What is my password to login to the GFF website ?
If this is your first login to the GFF website, use your GFF membership number as User ID and your date of birth (ddmmyyyy) as your default password. Members who register online through the GFF website create their own User ID and Password at the time of registration for future login. If you changed your password and then forget what it was, click the ‘forget password’ icon on the GFF home page. A new password will be created for you and mailed to your e-mail address. Or, you may call the GFF Center and ask our staff to make a new password for you.

What should I do if I lost my GFF Card ?
Contact GFF Center or Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to get a replacement card. You will be charged a replacement fee of Rp 50,000 (fifty thousand Rupiah) in Indonesia or US$ 10 (ten United States Dollar) outside Indonesia.

Why if my departure data did not recorded so that I don’t receive the mileage in my account ?
An un-recorded departure activity may be due to several reasons.

  • You forgot to mention your GFF membership number and name when making your departure reservation, or you did not present your GFF card at check-in.
  • The name you use when making departure reservation is different from the name in your GFF card and in the GFF database, so the system does not recognize your data.
  • The mileage may not also be credited to your account if your ticket or departure does not qualify for Award Miles, for instance in the case of special offer tickets or code share departures.

I don’t have sufficient Award Miles to be exchanged for an Award Ticket, can I make up the difference by cash payment or any other means ?
No, you cannot pay cash to make up for insufficient Award Miles. But there are ways to obtain Award Miles from non-departure activity, such as:

  • the Reward Point from a Partner Bank
  • using the services at a Partner Hotel
  • making a purchase at Garuda Shop on board or at the GFF Center.

On my previous departure, I forgot to mention my GFF membership number. Is there a way I can credit my mileage from that departure to my account ?
You can still credit a missing mileage if you make a claim within 6 (six) months at the latest from your departure date. Please complete a Missing Mileage Form, attach the original boarding pass and passenger ticket coupon or itinerary receipt e-ticket, and forward to GFF Center or Garuda Indonesia Sales Office. We will process your claim within a minimum of 4 (four) weeks after the receipt of the completed claim documents by GFF Center.

Can I make a mileage claim for departures made before joining the GFF program ?
No, you can only earn mileage from subsequent departures after your registration data is recorded at the GFF database.

Can I earn mileage if I make a code share departure ?
You can earn mileage from a code share departure where Garuda Indonesia is the Operating Party. Likewise, mileage cannot be claimed for code share departures where Garuda Indonesia is not the Operating Party. Can I process my Award Ticket or Upgrade Award via my travel agent or online at the GFF website ?
At present, Award Ticket or Upgrade Award can only be processed at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.What should I do if I change my correspondence address or contact telephone number ?
You can update your personal data yourself by accessing the GFF website at gff.garuda-indonesia.com, or you fill out a Change Address Form and forward it to Garuda Indonesia Sales Ofice.

How do I know how much mileage there is in my account ?
To check your mileage, you can access the GFF website at gff.garuda-indonesia.com, call Garuda Indonesia Call Center at 0 804 1 807 807, check your Mileage Statement, or inquire at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.

If I want to cancel my Award Ticket or Upgrade Award, can I get my exchanged mileage back ito my acount ?
You can redeposit your mileage back into your account if the Award Ticket or Upgrade Award have not been used at all. For detailed information on mileage redeposit, please see the Terms and Conditions, Art. 9.9.

Can I change the flight schedule on my Award Ticket or Upgrade Award ?
You can change the flight schedule on an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award, and your mileage account will be deducted by 25% (twenty five percent) of the total mileage with a valid ticket. However, if you do not have sufficent mileage left for the deduction, you cannot make a schedule change on an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award. You also cannot change the flight route, flight class and the name on the Award Ticket. Please contact Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to process the schedule change on your Award Ticket or Upgrade Award.

Can I earn mileage on flights with an Award Ticket or Ugrade Award ?
You cannot earn mileage on flights with an Award Ticket. If you use an Upgrade Award, you will earn mileage according to the economy class ticket that you buy.

Can I give an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award to be used by a family member or friend ?
This is one of the advantage of a GFF membership. An Award Ticket or Upgrade Award from your mileage account can be given to anyone of your choice.

Can I transfer my earned mileage to the account of another GFF member ?
Your GFF mileage cannot be transferred to another member account. However, you can exchange your Award Miles into an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award that can be given to anyone you like.

Can I reactivate my expired GFF membership ?
No, an expired GFF membership cannot be reactivated, and the mileage on the expired account will be nullified. However, should you wish to rejoin the GFF program, you are always welcome to register as a new member.

Can my earned mileage get nullified ?
Your mileage will be valid for as long as your membership account remains active.

How do I know if my membership is still active ?
You can check your membership active status by one of the following means:
a. access the GFF website
b. checking the validity period as printed on the GFF Card
c. call Garuda Indonesia Call Center at 0 804 1 807 807
