(+) Garuda Indonesia Telephone Check-in is a pre journey (during check-in) service offered to Garuda Indonesia passenger through telephone call.

(?) When can I Check-in through Telephone call ?
(+) Telephone Check-in service is available 24 hours before departure schedule and closed 4 hours before departure schedule.
(?) Who qualifies to do telephone check-in ?
(+) Garuda Indonesia individual passenger with confirmed booking who meets the following conditions :
(?) Why should the economy class passenger be limited only to passenger using on line payment to use telephone check-in ?
(+) Since it's still in the earliest stage of development, for the time being the usage is limited but in the future the service will widely be opened to all class of service under certain terms and condition.
(?) Is there any condition that Garuda Indonesia passenger is unable to use telephone check-in ?

When Garuda passenger is in a group booking where one booking consists of more than 9 passengers' name.
(?) Why is it so ?
(+) Since Group booking has its own procedure in checking-in that takes longer time than individual passenger which may cause longer waiting time for other passenger to reach call center.
(?) If I have a connecting flight / same day outgoing & returning flight, are all flight routes eligible to check-in via telephone ?
(+) It's not possible at the moment to check-in through Telephone since it's only valid for direct flight (point to point) without connection.
(?) When I have check-in by telephone call, does it mean that I don?t have to report at airport check-in counter ?
(+) Passenger must still report at the airport check-in counter to take the boarding pass.
(?) Can I do last minute report at the airport because I have checked-in through telephone call ?

Even passenger who does telephone check-in must still report 45 minutes before schedule time departure at the airport check-in counter otherwise you will be cancelled automatically (offload DCS) by the system.
(?) Does it mean that my reservation at that flight is automatically cancelled ?

No because the cancellation is merely for the telephone check-in. In other words the passenger status is changed from have gone through "check-in" to "have not gone through check-in", by doing so the passenger must re-check-in at the terminal building (check-in counter after x-ray) with possible change of seat configuration.
(?) Can a passenger change his flight schedule after checking-in through telephone ?

It can be done through call center or via Garuda Indonesia sales office.
(?) Do I still have to queue at the check-in counter eventhough I have check-in through telephone ?
(+) At present Garuda Indonesia have prepared special counter dedicated to passenger using on line payment and telephone check-in (e-transaction). Bagaggeless passenger can go to e-travel counter then proceed to the boarding gate, while passenger with baggage after going through e-travel counter must still go to the check-in counter to go through x-ray and baggage weigh.
(?) If I have settled the payment through on line payment and checking-in via telephone , why should I go to e-travel counter if my data-base is already in the reservation system or in the check-in system ?
(+) Passenger who have done on line payment but does not have "itinerary receipt (ITR)" should proceed to the e-travel counter or ticketing counter to get "itinerary receipt (ITR)" for the sake of security check at the airport.
