Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (IHSG-GIAA), on Friday 16 September 2011 accept the 47th Boeing 737-800NG, which is delivered  directly by VP Operations Delivery  Center of Boeing Mr. John Prico  to President & CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia Mr. Emirsyah Satar in Boeing Facilities   and witnessed by U.S. ambassador of  Indonesia HE.Dino Patti Djalal.

Jakarta, Indonesia, 9 September 2011, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (IHSG-GIAA), the first and largest carrier in Indonesia, announced today that GIAA achieved better performance in this Iedul Fitri holiday 2011, compared to the previous year 2010. Total passenger carried start from D -7 until D +7 is 655.576 person. The number is increased for 27% from 518.445 passengers achieved in pervious year 2010. This number is beyond expectation, which are estimated would achieve 15% increasement. GIAA also achive On-Time Perfomance for 89.35%.

No Deadlock between the management of GIAA and the APG, instead president of APG Capt. Stephanus himself left the GIAA management and some APG commitee member during the meeting that held at the Garuda Operation Center (GOC) Cengkareng, on August 26, 2011.
