Singapore, December 15, 2009 - PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) ("Garuda") wishes to announce that the meeting of Noteholders for the restructuring of the Notes has been adjourned to 10 a.m., Singapore time, January 11, 2010 for failure to meet the quorum requirements under the trust deed constituting the Notes, which required Noteholders and/or their representatives holding 75% of the aggregate outstanding principal amount of Notes to attend or be represented at the Meeting.

Under the terms of the Trust Deed, the quorum requirements for the adjourned Meeting of Noteholders would require Noteholders or their representatives holding 25% of the aggregate outstanding principal amount of the Notes to be present at the adjourned Meeting.

Amendments to the material dates and events set forth in the consent solicitation statement and offer to purchase issued by Garuda on November 9, 2009 (the "Consent Solicitation and Invitation Document") required as a result of the adjournment of the Meeting will be confirmed and circulated to Noteholders through the clearing systems in a supplement to the Consent Solicitation and Invitation Document. Noteholders are advised to refer to the supplement for further details.
