Effective February 2, 2009, Garuda Indonesia resumed its Denpasar - Hong Kong flight service following the re-opening of the Surabaya - Hong Kong route on the previous day (February 1, 2009). Apart from keeping in line with Garuda Indonesia's network expansion program for 2009 which introduces 18 new routes, the move was made in anticipation of the rise in visitors flow, particularly from Hong Kong and China, to Bali.

To provide customers with greater benefits and facilities in reservation bookings and ticket purchases, Garuda Indonesia introduced the "Garuda Indonesia Online Booking".

Continuing with business development measures, in 2009 Garuda Indonesia will operate at least 18 new routes in both the domestic and regional sectors

As a part of supporting the Jogjakarta and Central Java tourism and economical potency improvement, and as an effort in build up the regional network, starting from today (16/12) Garuda Indonesia re-open the Singapore-Jogjakarta flight.
