How the Program Works

Enrollment

You can sign up for one of the four membership types within the GFF program: GFF Regular, GFF Junior, Executive Card Plus (EC Plus) and Garuda Indonesia Citi Card (GIC Card) membership. Each has its own enrollment requirements and benefits

GFF Regular
Requirements:
• Age 12 and above
• Residing in Indonesia, or outside Indonesia where the GFF program is applicable
• No membership fee
 

How to register:
• Online registration at gff.garuda-indonesia.com
• Complete the application form, available at:
   - Garuda Indonesia domestic and international sales offices
   - GFF Membership service counter at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta
   - Garuda In-flight Magazine
• Through GFF partners
• Through other enrollment programs managed by Garuda Indonesia and/or GFF partners

 

GFF Junior
Requirements:
• Age between 2 and 11
• Residing in Indonesia, or outside of Indonesia where the GFF program is applicable
• No membership fee
• Having a parent or legal guardian whose name is registered in the GFF database

How to register:
• Complete the application form, available at:
  - Garuda Indonesia domestic and international sales offices
  - GFF Membership service counter at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta
• Garuda In-flight Magazine
• Through other enrollment programs managed by Garuda Indonesia and/or GFF partners

 

Executive Card Plus (EC Plus)
An EC Plus membership provides the same benefits enjoyed by a GFF Gold member, plus an additional benefit of an insurance coverage.

Requirements:
• Age 17 and above.
• Residing in Indonesia.
• Joining fee of Rp. 1,500,000.
• An annual fee of Rp. 1,500,000 or Rp. 500,000 for membership renewal depending on the number of flights taken during the previous membership year.
• EC Plus members who wish to re-join the EC Plus program after termination of membership will be charged Rp. 1,500,000.

How to register:
• Complete the EC Plus application form, available at Garuda Indonesia domestic and international sales offices or GFF Membership service counter at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta
• Attach a copy of ID (KTP, Passport or other ID)

 

Garuda Indonesia Citi Card (GIC Card) 
A GIC Card combines a GFF membership and a Citibank credit card membership.

Requirements:
• Age 21 - 65
• Residing in Indonesia
• An Annual Fee of Rp. 600,000
• complying with terms & conditions for credit card application as determined by Citibank

How to register:
• Online registration at www.citibank.co.id
• Complete the GIC Card application form, available at Citibank outlets
• Contact Citiphone Banking services

 

GARUDA BNI VISA PLATINUM 
The perfect companion with maximum benefit for your GFF Membership.

Requirements:
• Age 21 - 65 
• Residing in Indonesia
• An Annual Fee of Rp. 600,000 
• Complying with terms & conditions for credit card application as determined by BNI 
• Does not have an EC Plus and Garuda Indonesia Citi Card membership

Those who are interested to apply the GARUDA BNI Credit Card can start to submit the application that will be available at:

Receiving Card 

When you apply for a GFF membership, you will receive a GFF card number. Use the card number during flight reservations and at check-in counter of your Garuda Indonesia flight or Garuda Indonesia airline partner flight. As soon as we receive and confirm your membership application, you will be able to enjoy the benefit of GFF Blue membership. Your GFF Blue card membership will be printed as soon as your first flight with GFF number is recorded in GFF database. It may take up to 2 (two) weeks to process before you receive your GFF card. 

Earning Miles                                                       

There are two kinds of mileage awards in the GFF program:

AWARD MILES,

Represent the mileage earned each time a GFF member flies with Garuda Indonesia on an eligible flight or with any Garuda Indonesia airline partner. This includes mileage bonuses or mileage earned from transactions with other GFF partners. Award Miles can be redeemed for an Award Ticket, Upgrade Award or other awards provided by Garuda Indonesia.

TIER MILES,

Represent the mileage earned each time a GFF member flies with Garuda Indonesia on an eligible flight. This will be used to determine the level of your GFF membership. Tier Miles are accumulated from 1 January to 31 December in the same year and are re-set to zero on 1 January of the following year.

 How to Earn Award Miles
Award Miles are earned from flights or non-flight transactions, such as:

  • Flights on Garuda Indonesia eligible flights
  • Flights on Garuda Indonesia airline partner
  • Making a purchase at the Garuda Shop (Sales on Board)
  • Through transactions with GFF partners by staying at the partnered hotels and using telephone roaming services
  • Transfer of Rewards Points from GFF Bank partners
  • Payment for purchases using the Garuda Indonesia Citi Card 

 

How to Monitor Your Mileage
you may check your mileage recorded in your GFF membership data in a number of ways:
 1. Access the GFF website gff.garuda-indonesia.com.
 2. Check your quarterly mileage statement.
 3. Call Garuda Indonesia 24 hour Call Center at 0 804 1 807 807
 

How to Claim Missing Miles
we will process your missing mileage claim in 1-2 weeks after the flight date or the date of other transactions.

You can make a claim for missing mileage at any time up to 6 (six) months from the date of your flight or transaction. Simply complete the Missing Mileage Form that is available online at gff.garudaindonesia.com or at any Garuda Indonesia sales office and attach the following supporting documents:

1. A copy of the passenger ticket coupon or itinerary receipt e-ticket and the original boarding pass (for flight transactions)

2. A copy of the payment receipt (hotel or Garuda Shop receipt for non-flight activity such as, staying at a hotel or making a purchase at the Garuda Shop)

Please send the completed form and attached documents to GFF
Center or Garuda Indonesia Sales Office

Online Claim Missing Mileage
You may claim your mileage via web GFF with these simple steps:
  1. Login to your GFF Account at gff.garuda-indonesia.com
  2. Click Claim Missing Mileage, and choose Create
  3. Fill in all the required data
  4. Click Submit to send you flight claim. Feedback will be sent to your Postbox & Email

 

Redeeming Miles                                                      

The main benefit of GFF membership is that you can get a chance to collect an Award Miles, which is redeemable for an Award Ticket and Upgrade Award, that is not only valid for yourself but also for your family or colleagues. Award Miles redemption applies to Garuda Indonesia and/or code-share flights operated by Garuda Indonesia and/or other airlines that have FFP cooperation with Garuda Indonesia.

How to Redeem Award Miles for Award Ticket

  1. Choose your desired flight destination and departure date.
  2. Make sure that you have enough Award Miles in your account for your intended destination.
  3. Contact Garuda Indonesia Call Center at 0 804 1 807 807 (from Indonesia) or Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to reserve your flight.
  4. Complete the Award Ticket application form available online gff.garuda-indonesia.com or at any Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
  5. Submit the completed form along with your GFF membership card and a copy of your ID (KTP, passport or other ID) to Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
  6. You can pick up the Award Ticket at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office where you submit your application. If you cannot come personally, the person representing you must have the original Letter of Rights

How to Redeem Award Miles for an Upgrade Award

  1. Purchase an Economy class ticket for your desired destination and departure date.
  2. Make sure that you have enough Award Miles in your account for upgrade to an Executive class on your intended flight.
  3. Contact Garuda Indonesia Call Center on 0 804 1 807 807 (from Indonesia) or Garuda Indonesia Sales Office to reserve your flight.
  4. Complete the Upgrade Award Form available at gff.garudaindonesia.com or at any Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
  5. Submit the completed form along with the original Economy class ticket, your GFF membership card and a copy of your ID (KTP, passport or other ID) to Garuda Indonesia Sales Office.
  6. You can pick up the Upgrade Award ticket at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office where you submit your application. If you cannot come personally, the person representing you must have the original Letter of Rights.
