Citilink
Citilink is the dynamic concept of Garuda Indonesia Airways. We offer you flights to various interesting destinations in Indonesia with cheaper prices. On July 5, 2012, Citilink officially received Air Operation Certificate (AOC) from the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. This certificate marked the new age of change in Citilink Management as it had previously been under the management of PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk.

The AOC is a certification issued by the Department of Transportation of RI to airways which officially operate in Indonesia. Previously, as a subsidiary of PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk, Citilink operated using the AOC owned by Garuda Indonesia. Now that we have our own AOC, Citilink is officially one of Indonesian independent airways.

Since the certification, Citilink now flies to 70 domestic routes and 16 regional routes. We are planning on adding more routes by mid-2013. Our next routes will be Yogyakarta, padang, Semarang, Pekanbaru and Sorong.

Throughout the year, Citilink has been going through rebranding process. We realize it by applying an overall branding strategy, starting from new livery, logo, aircraft interior, sales offices, cabin attendants’ uniforms, website system and lay-out. This effort is supported by marketing and communication programs to reach the broader communities.

At the moment, Citilink flies with 16 aircrafts consisting of 10 Airbus A320s with 180 seats, 6 Boeing 737-400s with 170 seats. We serve 76 flight frequencies to Surabaya, Batam, Banjarmasin, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Medan, Makassar and Lombok from our two hubs in Jakarta and Surabaya. Our target is to have 21 aircrafts by the end of 2012, and 50 aircrafts by 2015.
