Whistleblowing System

WBS is one management tools used to assist the enforcement of business ethics and work ethics at the Company. The Company has developed a web basis whistleblowing system that allows every people to report any fraud and any other form of violation of corporate ethics done by the Company employee.

To encourage every one to file report of violation, the identity of the person making a report under the Whistle-Blowing procedure will remain confidential and will be protected against retaliation.

WBS was launched concurrently with the launching of corporate ethics and gratuity control program, on February 10, 2011, witnessed by KPK. Following the launching of those three programs, the Company has been conducted intensive socialization to all employees and to a number of partners and vendors.

 Whistleblower can submit report of ethical violation and fraud through www.ga-whistleblower and get the ID ticket and password, to reenter the web to find out the status and the development of the case reported. The website also serves as a mean of communication with the WBS administrator, the Corporate Secretary Unit.

WBS Officer receives, reviews, and verifies the incoming reports and determines the status of the report, whether to follow up or to reject on the basis of lack of evidence. WBS officer is one member of the Board of Commissioners.

In conducting investigation of a report, the Company policy stipulates that the investigation process can be conducted by independent or and/or internal auditor. To conduct an investigation on a WBS report, the Company has appointed a prominent Public Accounting Firm through procurement mechanism and in accordance with the Company’s regulation.
