Who qualifies to do Garuda Indonesia Online Check In?

•  Passengers with confirmed booking ticket who meets the following conditions:
   a. Passenger with domestic destination and Jakarta as a city of origin in the first segment of reservation.
   b. Executive Class (C) or Economy Class ticket on Y, M, and L fare class.
   c. Non-connecting and non-transferring flight (direct flight only).

When can I use Garuda Indonesia Online Check In?

•  Passengers could check-in using Garuda Indonesia Online Check In through the website within 24 hours until 4 hours before
   departure time.

 

Who doesn’t qualify to do Garuda Indonesia Online Check-in?

   a. Passenger in Group Booking.
   b. One flight with more than one flight number (connecting flight).
   c. Passenger in pregnant condition or brings baby or Unaccompanied Minor or who require a wheelchair, stretcher case, or other special
      handling and assistance.
   d. Children aged less than 12 years old who travel alone (accompanied without any adults over 17 years).

 

Why should Garuda Indonesia Online Check In destination be limited only to domestic destination from Jakarta as a city of origin and for first segment only?

•  Since, it's still in the earliest stage of development. For the time being, the usage is limited but in the future the service will widely be opened
   to all destinations under certain terms and conditions.

 

If I have a connecting flight/same day outgoing & returning flight, are all flight routes eligible to check-in through Garuda Indonesia Online Check In ?

•  At the moment it's not possible to check-in through internet since it's only valid for direct flight (point to point) without connection.

 

What do I need to do Garuda Indonesia Online Check in?

•  All you need is an Internet ready computer and a printer (recommended). Passengers will also need Adobe Reader installed to open or
   view your Online Check In Receipt, which is in PDF format.

 

What should I prepare before check-in using Garuda Indonesia Online Check in?

•  Please have your e-Ticket information available, such as ticket number and PNR (Passenger Name Record)/Booking Code before using
   Garuda Indonesia Online Check In.

 

What is a Booking Code?

What is an e-Ticket number?

•  It is a 13 digit numeric number usually stated on your e-Ticket, example; e-ticket number: 1266845873691.

 

Can groups use Garuda Indonesia Online Check In?

•  Groups, except booking through Garuda Indonesia Online Booking, can’t use Garuda Indonesia Online Check In.

 

What is Garuda Indonesia Online Booking?

•  Garuda Indonesia Online booking is an alternative of booking provided by Garuda Indonesia for our potential Passengers who wants to buy
    ticket via website and payment through credit card.

 

Can I use Garuda Indonesia Online Check In if I need special assistance (e.g. Unaccompanied minor, wheelchair, etc)?

•  No, can’t. Passengers who require special assistance will need to check-in at the airport.

 

Can I use Garuda Indonesia Online Check In if I am travelling with infant?

•  No, can’t. Passengers travelling with infant, please check in at the airport.

 

If I have onward or return flight segment, can I check-in for all the segments?

•  No, Garuda Indonesia Online Check In is valid only for first segment which depart from Jakarta to any domestic route.

 

Can I change my seat assignment?

How do I print my Online Check In Receipt?

•  First, you may need to download the Online Check In Receipt. Second, you just need to click the printer icon on the Adobe Acrobat
   Reader after you open the file first.

 

What should I do if I lose my Online Check In Receipt?
•  Passengers can reprint the Online Check In Receipt.

 

How to reprint my Online Check In Receipt?

•  Either through printing saved copy of the PDF or by re-login and re-download, and reprint the Online Check In Receipt again.

 

When I have done online check-in, do I have to report at the Airport check-in counter?

•  Yes, Passengers are required to report to the airport check in counter NOT LESS THEN 45 MINUTES before departure time and bring
   travel documents along.

 

Do I still need to pay airport tax at the airport?

•  Yes, Passengers are required to pay airport tax at the airport.


When should I be at the airport?

•  Passengers are required to report to the airport check-in counter NOT LESS THEN than 45 minutes to flight scheduled departure time for
   travel document verification, exchange online check-in receipt with boarding pass and baggage check-in (if any). Passengers are encouraged
   to arrive early at the check-in counter to ensure you have enough time for travel document verification and to exchange your online check-in
   receipt with boarding pass, baggage check-in, security, and other airport formalities.

 

Can I cancel my check-in during process in Garuda Indonesia Online Check In?

•  Check-in can be cancelled before you reach the Confirmation Details page. Once on Confirmation Details page, even if you close the
   browser, you are already considered as checked-in status. Passengers will need to call Garuda Indonesia Call Center at 0 804 1 807 807
   (Indonesia) or +622123519999 if you wish to cancel your check-in.
