About Garuda Indonesia Cargo

Garuda Indonesia Cargo handles cargo transportation services by air using the aircraft of Garuda Indonesia. In addition to direct selling, Garuda Indonesia Cargo also promotes its services through cooperation with its partners, such as agents, freight forwarders and GSSA for both domestic and international destinations.

Garuda Indonesia Cargo through its domestic distribution channel, Cargo Service Center (CSC), handles "City to Port" and "City to City" cargo transportation services so that the delivery process of cargo can be closer to the sender and beneficiary. By the end of 2013, around 30 CSCs had been established at several big cities in Indonesia, including Bandung, Yogyakarta and Makassar, complementing the existing CSCs at the airports.

In line with online shopping and small package growth in Indonesia, SBU Cargo also has offered domestic "door to door" cargo services, in cooperation with third parties and reintroduced its GO Express product. This product offers a pick-up service from the customer and delivery directly to the beneficiary, similar to courier services. By the end of 2014, Garuda Indonesia will serve 45 domestic and 18 International destinations and in 2015, Garuda Indonesia Cargo will expand to 62 domestic and 24 International destinations.
