Warung Eropa

Located in the Petitenget area in Seminyak, Warung Eropa is one of the top restaurants in Bali that is always packed with diners, especially during lunch time. Even though it’s called Warung Eropa and does serve international dishes, its winning dish is the Balinese traditional Crispy Duck, which consists of ¼ crispy fried duck that is served with three kinds of sambal and tasty Balinese urap and rice.

Watercress

Nestled in the narrow street of Batu Belig in Canggu, Watercress that often named as one of the best food in Bali. The hip healthy breakfast spot available from 7.30AM - 3PM to serve delicate choices of dishes that are inspired by the owner’s hometown in Byron Bay, Australia - accompanied by coffee from Revolver. Seniman Coffee Studio

Greeting its customers with a large sign that says ‘Life Is Too Short For Bad Coffee’, Seniman Coffee Studio in Ubud certainly takes their coffee seriously. With its own roastery located just across the street from their outlet in Jalan Sriwedari, Seniman that in English means ‘artist’ aims for customers to feel like they’ve walked into an artwork the very moment they step into the shop. Even the seats they have are the regular plastic stools that commonly found at street hawkers, but have been creatively turned into rocking chairs by simply adding wooden element on the bottom. This is the perfect place to spend an afternoon in Ubud.

Revolver Espresso

 

Sourcing their beans from the best coffee farmers in the world, Revolver Espresso roasts and blends their beans locally in order to get the best tasting coffee possible. They have two outlets for you that happen to around Seminyak area; one in Jalan Kayu Aya and ‘Revolver Baby’ in Jalan Petitenget as it is smaller in size and can only serve up to 10 people at the same time. Hidden behind the line up of clothing boutiques in Jalan Kayu Aya, Revolver boasts a minimalistic yet tropical ambiance with pink walls and flower wallpaper, with wooden stools that sit on the semi-outdoor setting. Do make sure Revolver is in your list of things to do in Seminyak.

Milk & Madu

Sheltered in an open-air Joglo house, Milk & Madu is located at Jalan Raya Berawa in Canggu. As one of the most popular meet-up and brunch spots in the area, Milk & Madu is a favorite amongst Bali’s locals, especially in the expatriate community, mainly for its spaciousness that includes a playground area where your kids can play at freely yet safely while you enjoy a delicious brunch with a side of coffee. If there is one thing that Milk & Madu has plenty of, is a selection of brunch, lunch and dessert menu that you will have trouble choosing from. If surfing is your thing, then this first smoothie bowl shack in Bali might be one of the best cafes in Seminyak for your taste. Meaning waves in Hawaiian, Nalu puts forward the concept of a surfer’s shack in its quaint shop in a nestled spot behind Jalan Drupadi (right across Warung Made Seminyak), with ceiling made of straws and decorated with light-colored wooden elements and several stools in coordinating color. Sari Organik

Located in the the midst of an Ubud rice field, Sari Organik is A small family business dedicated to growing organic fruits, vegetables and indigenous Indonesian rice. Their popular vegetarian/vegan/raw food restaurant, ‘Warung Bodag Maliah’ could be one of the places to eat in Ubud that offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that will be a great addition to your culinary adventure. As the restaurant is located in the middle of a rice field, you will need to take a 15-minute walk down the narrow path of the rice fields that leads you to the organic farm from which the restaurant gets most of its ingredients. You will then arrive at the lush open air space decorated in vibrant colors of purple, pink and blue with furnitures made of bamboo and wood occupying the space. One of the best new cafes in Seminyak, .TEMU or simply pronounced as Titik Temu, offers a different ambiance for those who are looking to spend their afternoon sipping good coffee with their loved ones. Walking into the spacious open-air joint, you will not find the traditional tables and chairs, but will instead find a grass lawn with colorful beanbags scattered around that make for the perfect afternoon picnic setting. Some nights .TEMU also hosts a slew of live performances by local artists that will entertain you throughout the night.

Dinner with a sea view and sand between your toes, with live music playing easy-listening songs - sounds like a perfect evening, don’t you think? Having seafood dinner at Jimbaran Beach is an absolute must when in Bali. Along the beach, you can choose between more than a dozen restaurants that will serve you the best quality seafood that have just been harvested straight from the sea that morning. Simply pick out the kinds of seasonal seafood from each restaurant, and they will proceed to cook them however you want.
