Nusa Lembongan

A small island located approximately 20 kilometers off Bali’s east coast, Nusa Lembongan might be the place to see another side of the island of gods.

It is fairly easy to get to Nusa Lembongan from Sanur Beach.

Just hire a speedboat and you will arrive shortly after 30-40 minutes ride at Mushroom Bay.

The fee varies from IDR 300,000-600,000 for return trip, depends on the boat type.

While you’re in Nusa Lembongan, its neighbouring islands Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan are also worth a visit.

  1. Dream Beach
Deemed as ‘surfer’s paradise’ and one of the best beaches in Bali, Dream Beach truly looks like something out of a dream. With its white sand, crystal clear waters and intense waves, Dream Beach is a mandatory destination for surfing enthusiasts. Easily reached from Mushroom Bay, you will find plenty street directions that will lead you to the aforementioned shore. As the streets in Nusa Lembongan are fairly straight and narrow, you may want to rent a motorcycle to reach Dream Beach or the clifftop resort, Dream Beach Hut.

  2. Cross The Yellow Bridge to Nusa Ceningan
As Nusa Lembongan is not a particularly big island like Bali, you only need one day to visit all the sites. Once you see it all, you may cross the yellow bridge to get to another island, Nusa Ceningan. Not only you will get to see neighbouring island, the view along the bridge itself is fascinating to see. On top of that, cliff jumping at Blue Lagoon might be eventful for you.
