Leidseplein

Located in the heart of Amsterdam Leidensplein is a well-connected area that was started in the 17th century as a parking space for farmers’ horses and carts, is now a popular and busy square that is home to the city’s bustling nightlife areas, restaurants, bars and so much more. Translates roughly as Leiden Square, this square is situated at the southern end of Amsterdam’s central canal ring.
