Seminyak

Known as home to upscale hotels and villas, Seminyak is one of the most populated exclusive areas in Bali where you can find high-end cafes and restaurants alongside selected shops of fashion boutiques, lifestyle brands and elegant housewares.

Despite its close location to Kuta and Legian, you can tell how Seminyak is different since the moment you step into the area.

If Seminyak is your choice of place to stay, you may refuse to go anywhere else since you can find almost everything you ask for just by walking down its streets.

  1. Café Hopping
If there is one thing that one must do while in Seminyak, it has to be café hopping. Easily the best way to spend an afternoon in Bali - is to visit various coffee shops and enjoy the wide range of coffee they have to offer; from humble stalls with their traditional Balinese coffee, to cafés that adopt the Australian coffee culture. You may start your cafe hopping journey at Anomali Coffee, then move on to Earth Café at Jalan Kayu Aya for coffee with a side of organic vegan snack, and proceed to Grocer & Grind at the end of Jalan Kayu Jati.

  2. Double Six Beach
Located along Seminyak, Double Six Beach may not be the most popular beach destination that Bali has to offer, but this beach is where to stay for those who don’t want to bother with bustling Kuta area yet want to remain closeby. Hit the beach early in the morning to feel the cool morning breeze on your face while balancing yourself on surfboards, or spend the afternoon sunset watching from the beach’s most vibrant spot, La Plancha.
