Bangkok is known as the central of small trade and port community of the west coast of Chao Phraya river about 200 years ago. Variety of local dish are sold here; from tropical fruits and fresh vegetables, coconut water ready to drink and local delicacies cooked from the floating kitchen right on top of the boat! Chatuchak Weekend Market is the shopping hot spot for tourists that you must visit during your stay in Bangkok. This market housed more than 8,000 small kiosks. On the weekend, there are more than 200,000 visitors that come here and go crazy-shopping. After strolling around the city, don’t forget to try Pad Thai, Tom Yum, or Thailand’s most famous dessert: Mango with Sticky Rice.
