Taman Impian Jaya Ancol / Ancol Dreamland

As the largest entertainment complex in Jakarta, Ancol Dreamland is a resort destination located along Jakarta’s waterfront at the Jakarta Bay.

First opened for public in 1966, visitors can always find something interesting to do in Ancol such as the Dufan Theme Park, SeaWorld, Atlantis Water Adventures, Alive Museum and more.

While most of the Jakarta beaches are close to industrial sites, the ones here are best suited for picnics and a splash or two.

  1. Ocean Ecopark Ancol
    One of the more recently-built areas of the Ancol Dreamland, Ocean Ecopark Ancol is a 34-hectare golf course that is divided into four areas that emphasizes on environmentally-friendly features. This open air and spacious area also makes this place perfect to house some of the big music festivals in town. Visitors with kids can also introduce eco-awareness at an early age, as they stroll and feed the fishes and deer.

  2. SeaWorld Indonesia
    Marine life enthusiasts must put SeaWorld Indonesia in Ancol Dreamland complex a visit when in Jakarta. With approximately 3 hectares of land and 4.500 sqm main area, SeaWorld consists of many different aquariums, underwater alleyway, library, museum, glow theatre, touch screen e-learning stations with all kinds of sea life education info, and other facilities for visitors to enjoy such as restaurants, gift shop, and multi-function halls.
