INFORMATION ABOUT OPERATIONAL POLICY DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK

Travel Restrictions & Document Requirements

Travel restrictions and document requirements mentioned for each destination below are based on each destination governments/local governments/related authorities regulations

The following provisions are the travel document requirements during the public activity restrictions (PPKM) effective from 29 August 2022 until further notice

Attention: COVID-19 test results must be published from one of the health facilities registered on the Indonesian Health Ministry that you can find here and passengers must make sure that it is uploaded to the eHAC system integrated into PeduliLindungi app by the health facility (you can download the app on Android and iOS)

Important Notes

  1. Negative COVID-19 test results must be published from one of the health facilities registered on the Indonesian Health Ministry that you can find here and passengers must make sure that it is uploaded to the eHAC system integrated to PeduliLindungi app by the health facility
  2. If there is a different requirement between the origin and destination, the regulations follow the more stringent requirements or follow the local Port Health Office (KKP) policies
  3. For children under 6 years old follow the general provisions of their travel companion who has complied with the provisions for vaccination and COVID-19 examination and implemented strict healh protocols
  4. Domestic transit/connecting flight passengers (without exiting the transit area) may follow the final destination requirements
  5. International flight passengers entering Indonesia with a connecting to domestic flight destination must follow the international arrival requirements (please see International Flight Entering Indonesia below) and the final domestic destination requirements as above
  6. Foreigners who are not/yet vaccinated and are leaving the Indonesian territory through a transit/connecting domestic flight are not required to show a vaccine certificate, as long they do not leave the airport area during transit and are permitted by the local Port Health Authority (KKP) at the departure airport

Besides the above requirements, upon arrival at the destination airport, passengers are possible to go through additional health checks or to fill other forms/statement letters required by local authorities/local government. 

Passengers are requested to download and use the PeduliLindungi application for the process of checking flight requirements documents (vaccine certificates) at the departure airport.

This provision is based on the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Circular Number 24 of 2022 and Ministry of Transportation Circular Number 82 of 2022, and effective from August 29th, 2022 until further notice

Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for any lack or mistake on any of the required documents and has the right to cancel the flight of any passenger that does not meet the requirement.

Indonesian Citizens (WNI)
All Indonesian citizens are allowed to enter Indonesia
Foreign Citizens (WNA)
Foreign Citizens from all foreign countries who will enter Indonesia, either directly or by transitting in foreign countries, are temporarily prohibited from entering Indonesia unless they meet one of the following criteria:
  1. Referring to Regulation of Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights Number 34 of 2021. these restrictions are excluded against foreigners holding legal and valid Visa and Stay Permit (consisting of: Service Visa, Diplomatic Visa, Visit Visa, Temporary Stay Visa, Official Stay Permit, Diplomatic Stay Permit, Temporary Stay Permit (KITAS), Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP), foreigners with health and humanitarian purpose (after receiving a recommendation from the ministry/institution that carries out the COVID- 9 handling function), and transportation crew that comes with the conveyance
  2. Referring to the Travel Corridor Agreement (TCA)
  3. Obtained a special written consideration/permission from an Indonesian Ministry/Institution
  4. Delegations of G20 member countries
Foreigners with tourism purpose may enter Indonesia with the following provisions:
  1. Short Visit Visa holders or other entry permits in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations
Documents Requirements & Health Protocols
1 Comply with the health protocols set by the Indonesian government
2
  • For Indonesian Citizens (WNI) that has been vaccinated for the second or third dose, do not required to show a negative RT-PCR test result
  • For Foreign Citizens (WNA) that has been fully vaccinated dose, do not required to show a negative RT-PCR test result
3 Show a complete (full dose) COVID-19 vaccine card/certificate (printed/digital) that has been done minimum 14 days before departure date written in English or origin country language, in a condition where the passenger cannot show a complete COVID-19 card/certificate, then the following rules apply:
a. Indonesian Citizens (WNI) can enter Indonesia and obliged to vaccinated upon arrival in Indonesia at the entry point
b. Foreign Citizens (WNA) who meet the following requirements will be vaccinated upon arrival in Indonesia
  • Diplomatic Stay Permit/Official Stay Permit holders
  • Has an invitation from Indonesian Ministry
Excluded from the mandatory complete COVID-19 vaccine certificate requirements are:
  1. Indonesian Citizens/Foreigners under 18 years old who meets the following requirements:
    - Accompanied by parent with proof of family relation
  2. Diplomatic Visa / Official Visa holders related to state visits (min. Minister level) above and their entourage who make official/state visits
  3. Foreigners who enter Indonesia under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA) scheme, according to the principle of reciprocity while still implementing strict health protocols
  4. Indonesian Citizens/Foreigners who are not yet or cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons based on a statement letter from a medical specialist from a government hospital in their origin country
4 In the event that international travelers carry out centralized quarantine with self-financing, they are required to show proof of payment confirmation for booking quarantine accommodation from the accommodation provider while staying in Indonesia

Upon arrival, the passenger must go through an Isotermal Molecular test (NAAT/similiar) or RT-PCR test at the arrival airport in order to determine the health status of international travelers, and are required to undergo centralized quarantine with the following conditions:

  • 5 x 24 hours for International Traveller who have not been able to get vaccinated or just received first dose of vaccine
  • For International Travellers who have received the second or third dose of vaccine, they are allowed to continue their journey
  • For International Traveler under 18 years of age or 18 years old and in need of special protection, the duration of quarantine follows the provisions imposed on parents or caregivers/travel companions.
  • For International Travellers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that cause travellers to have not and/or are unable to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination, they are allowed to continue the journey by being obliged to attach a doctor's certificate from the Government Hospital of the country of departure stating that the person concerned has not and/or has not. can follow the COVID-19 vaccination
  • Quarantine only for International Travellers with positive result RT-PCR, with conditions :
    • Asymptomatic or experiencing mild symptoms, isolation carried in centralized insolation facilities set by the government
    • Moderate or severe symptoms, isolation is carried out at a COVID-19 referral hospital

In accordance with the Decree of the Head of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 concerning Entry Points, Quarantine Places, and RT-PCR Obligations for Indonesian Citizens, International Travelers , namely for the following

  1. Indonesian Citizens (WNI) with these criteria: Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who return to Indonesia to stay at least 14 days in Indonesia; students; or Government Officials returning from a duty trip; are required to undergo a centralized quarantine designated by the authority at the expense of the Indonesian government
  2. Indonesian Citizens outside the criteria mentioned in point 5.1. and Foreign Citizens (WNA) including foreign diplomats, (exceptions: the head of the foreign representatives and the family of the head of the foreign representatives) are required to undergo quarantine in a quarantine accommodation that has been certified by the Indonesian Health Ministry at the expense of their own.
  3. Exempted from the mandatory quarantine are Diplomatic Visa & Official Visa holders, State Visits min. Minister level and their entourage, and foreigners who enter Indonesia under the TCA

In the event where International Traveller arrival showed symptoms and/or have body temperature above 37.5 celcius degree, must do RT-PCR retest, will be given to Indonesian citizens (WNI) at the Indonesian government expense and Foreign citizens (WNA) at their own expense
7 In the event where a Foreign Citizen (WNA) is unable to pay for their quarantine and/or medical treatment expenses, then the sponsor-ministry/institution/company that has given consideration/permission for the foreigner to enter the Indonesian territory may be held accountable
8 Foreigners and Indonesian citizens traveling abroad with the purpose of traveling can enter the territory of Indonesia through the specified entry point by fulfilling the requirements above, and must attach:
  • Proof of booking confirmation and payment of accommodation from the accommodation provider while staying in Indonesia.
  • For Foreign Citizen, required to attach Short Visit Visa or other entry permits in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and Proof of ownership of health insurance which includes financing for handling COVID-19; and

The above provisions are referring to COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force Circular Letter Number 25 of 2022 and Circular Letter of The Ministry of Transportation Number 88 of 2022, effective from 1 September 2022 until further notice.

Passengers also may check the document requirements on Traveldoc. Besides the above requirements, upon arrival at the destination airport, passengers are possible to go through additional health checks or to fill other forms/statement letters required by local authorities/local government. Passengers are expected to prepare a copy and original copy of the documents prior to arrival at the departure airport and present it upon check-in. Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for any lack or mistake on any of the required documents and has the right to cancel the flight of any passenger that does not meet the requirement.

  1. The entry regulations regarding COVID-19 will be revoked on August 1, 2022.
  2. Starting August 1, 2022, all Passengers entering Malaysia no longer need to fill and complete Traveler's Card features in the app MySejahtera .
  3. Upon arrival at Malaysia's International Port of Entry (PMA), if a Passenger shows symptoms of fever through a temperature scanner or is detected as unwell upon self-examination by the Passenger, then they are referred for re-examination by the Ministry of Health.
  4. After a health check is carried out and if it is suspected that you have an infectious disease such as COVID-19, monkeypox, MERS-CoV or others, you will be referred to the nearest health facility for further examination and treatments
  5. Therefore, all travelers who have just arrived from abroad must carry out independent monitoring of their health status, comply with the prescribed SOPs and are advised to go to the nearest health facility to be checked if they are found to be symptomatic.
Bangkok

Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)

  • Passengers must have a Thailand Pass QR code obtained at https://tp.consular.go.th
  • Passengers entering Thailand must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days before departure; This does not apply to:
    • passengers traveling under the Alternative Quarantine (AQ) scheme;
    • passengers younger than 12 years;
    • passengers younger than 18 years traveling under the Sandbox program with their fully-vaccinated parents/guardians;
    • passengers between 12 and 17 years with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received one dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V;
    • passengers with a recovery certificate and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received at least one dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V at least 14 days before departure.
  • Passengers entering or transiting through Thailand must have medical insurance with minimum coverage of USD 20,000. This does not apply to nationals of Thailand.
  • Passengers traveling under the Test & Go scheme must have a hotel reservation for 1 night at AQ, OQ or SHA+ hotel and 2 COVID-19 tests (one RT-PCR test on day 1 and one antigen test on day 5) obtained at www.thailandsha.com or https://asq.in.th
  • Passengers traveling under the Sandbox Program scheme must:
    • arrive at Bangkok (BKK), Phuket (HKT) or Ko Samui (USM); and
    • have a hotel reservation for 5 nights at SHA+ hotel obtained at www.thailandsha.com and proof of payment for COVID-19 tests (one RT-PCR test on day 1 and one antigen test on day 5). They are subject to quarantine for 5 days.
  • Passengers traveling under the Alternative Quarantine (AQ) scheme must have proof of payment for COVID-19 tests; and a hotel reservation at AQ, OQ or AHQ hotel obtained at www.thailandsha.com and https://asq.in.th for 5 nights.
  • Passengers transiting through Thailand must have health insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses (minimum coverage of USD 20,000).
  • Starting May 1, 2022, the following provisions apply to passengers which is, Who have been fully vaccinated with a full dose  :
    1. Have a certificate of full dose
    2. Have a health insurance vaccine certificate to cover the cost of COVID-19 (minimum coverage of USD 10,000).
    Who have not been fully vaccinated :
    1. Have a RT PCR test results letter 72 hours before departure
    2. Health insurance to cover the cost of COVID-19 (minimum coverage of USD 10,000).
    3. Carrying out quarantine provisions in accordance with the provisions of the Government of Thailand

Starting 1 June 2022,

All quarantine activities will be stopped, as for the requirements are:

  • For Thai citizens:
    • Not required to register on the Thailand Pass, travellers can enter Thailand freely without quarantine,
    • Vaccine certificates. There is a possibility from immigration officers to check vaccination certificates. If passengers are unable to show their vaccination certificate, they can still enter Thailand.  
    • Without a COVID-19 test before or after arrival, and without a vaccination certificate (return to pre-pandemic arrangements).
    • Passengers who show flu-like symptoms or have a body temperature above normal limits will be required to take a COVID-19 test at the airport. If they test positive, they will be transferred to a hospital where the doctor will determine the next course of action (hospitalization, home quarantine, etc.).
  • For non-Thai residents :
    • Passengers must have a Thailand Pass QR code obtained at the https://tp.consular.go.th with a new feature, system will approve within 1-2 hours which previously took 48 hours, and receive pin code and QR code
    • Passengers are required to upload all documents on the Thailand Pass
    • Passengers with a full dose:
      • Copy of passport
      • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
      • Proof of health insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 10,000
    • Passengers who have not received 2 doses of vaccine / not at all
      • Copy of passport
      • Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR result or Antigen test max 3x24hrs. This not apply to :
        • Passengers under 6 years of age who are accompanied by their fully vaccinated parent or guardian;
        • Passengers under 18 years of age with certificate COVID-19 which indicates that they received one dose of vaccine
      • Proof of health insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 10,000
  • Airlines may refuse boarding if non-Thai passengers are unable to present all the required documents, even if they have a Thai QR Code Pass.
  • Non-Thai passengers who are unable to present a vaccination certificate or COVID-19 test result upon entry into Thailand are required to take a professional antigen test at the airport. From 1 July 2022
All passengers can enter Thailand with the following steps:

  1. Thailand Pass is no longer required to enter Thailand. 
  2. Fully vaccinated Passengers : Show travel documents along with vaccine certificates

Not fully vaccinated/Unvaccinated   : Show pcr/antigen test results whose samples are taken less than 72 hours before departure. 
Airlines may refuse passengers who are unable to present the documents mentioned.

  • Airlines based abroad can file a letter stating that their crew complies with all requirements as non-Thai citizens to facilitate crew movement. However, officers can still randomly check the necessary documents. Without such a letter the crew had to submit the gendec and show the necessary documents individually

Starting October 1, 2022

  1. Entrance regulations related to COVID-19 will be revoked on September 30, 2022
  2. There are no document requirements before leaving for Thailand regarding COVID-19
  3. If anyone finds this case, please notify the airport clinic (not Port Health) for a clinical evaluation of severe illness and personal medical expenses.
  4. In-flight Mask Requirements: Optional, following airline regulations.
  5. Restrictions for passengers departing from 42 designated Yellow Fever countries, must prepare a Yellow Fever vaccine certificate and register online at www.thaihealthpass.com
  6. Monkeypox symptom screening by Airport Officers or Staff and confirmed Monkeypox passengers will be isolated by medical staff

Published 11 January 2023

  1. Passengers arriving from China (People's Rep.) or India must have insurance to cover COVID-19 expenses (minimum coverage of USD 10,000).
  2. The insurance must cover their duration of stay in Thailand plus 7 days. The insurance can also be purchased upon arrival.
  3. This does not apply to:
    1. nationals of Thailand;
    2. passengers with a diplomatic, official or service passport.

The Japanese government will not require a PCR test 72 hours before departure from the origin station for arriving passengers who have received at least 3x the valid COVID-19 vaccination dose

Requirements for a valid vaccination certificate (3 doses )

From 11 October 2022
All passengers arriving in Japan after 00:00 LT on 11 October 2022, who obtained a valid vaccination certificate will not be required to obtain a COVID-19 testing certificate.
The vaccination certificate is only valid if it meets the following requirements:

  1. Certificate must be issued by the government or institutions public .
  2. The vaccination certificate issued in Japan must be one of the following:
    • “ Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate” issued by the government Japan or local government
    • “ Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate” issued by the local government
    • “ Note Vaccination for COVID-19” issued by the institution medical
  3. Other certificates considered equivalent to the documents listed above
    • The following items must be indicated in Japanese or English:
    • Name, Date birth , Vaccine name / Manufacturer , Date vaccination , Quantity given dose
    • If the date of birth is not included in the certificate, it may still be considered valid if it contains the passenger's passport number or other information that can be used to verify that the vaccination certificate belongs to the person concerned.
    • If the vaccination certificate is in a language other than Japanese or English, the certificate can be considered valid if accompanied by a Japanese or English translation and the contents can be confirmed
  4. The certificate must clearly show that you have received 3 doses of one of the following vaccines with the name of the vaccine/main manufacturer):

  2. Foreign tourists are not required to join the tour package.
  3. Passengers who have not been vaccinated completely / validly must have a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must be taken no later than 72 hours before departure from the first point of embarkation, and the test certificate must be in English, Japanese or accompanied by a certified English or Japanese translation; The test certificate should also state that the test is based on a “nasopharyngeal swab”, or “saliva”, or a “nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab”. A "nasal swab" is also accepted if the test type is LAMP, NEAR, PCR, RT-PCR, Smart Amp, TMA or TRC.

  5. For passengers who have been vaccinated completely / valid (3 doses), there is no need to show a negative result of the COVID-19 test. This exception also applies to their children traveling with them under the age of 18.

  7. Passengers must fill out the "Quarantine Questionnaire" via the MySOS application or at https://arqs-qa.followup.mhlw.go.jp/. This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

Until October 10 , 2022

  1. Visa exemption is suspended.
  2. Visas issued on or before March 8, 2020 by diplomatic representatives of Japan in China (People's Representative), Hong Kong (SAR China), Korea (Rep.) or Macau (SAR China) are cancelled.
  3. Visas issued on or before 27 March 2020 by Japanese diplomatic representatives in Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam are cancelled.

Hong Kong - Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)

The local government is upgrading the system (trial) for passengers arriving in Hong Kong;

  1. Before arriving in Hong Kong passengers have to submit an electronic health declaration to get a QR code before boarding at origin station
  2. The electronic health declaration QR code is valid for 96 hours (4 days), passengers can submit the declaration in 3 days before departure
  3. This electronic health declaration QR code can be downloaded, on a screen shot or printed out
  4. For passengers who have not been able to show the QR code electronic health declaration still able to enter Hong Kong during the period of this trial.

Starting August 12, 2022
For inbound passengers from Taiwan/other overseas, the HKG Government requirements:

  1. Quarantine with the model '3+4', i.e. passanger will be subject to mandatory quarantine at DQH for three nights (must hold a confirmed DQH room reservation 3 nights), followed by medical supervision at home/other places for four days
  2. Before flying passengers are required to submit a QR Code at least 72 hours before departure on the link https://www.chp.gov.hk/hdf.
  3. Link can also be in  access via PC / Desktop or mobile phone
  4. After QR submission, a color display will come out:
    • Green: Requirements are complete
    • Pink: The hotel that has been booked is not verified in the system, it will be confirmed to the hotel upon arrival
    • Red: Vaccination requirements are not appropriate, denied boarding
    • Other color: Check vaccine status and check hotel confirmation
  5. Negative pre-departure PCR test report

Starting September 26, 2022

  1. Hong Kong residents no longer need to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination
  2. Non-HongKong residents aged 12 years and over will still be required to be fully vaccinated or have obtained a medical exemption certificate before they are allowed to board a flight to HongKong
  3. Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before the departure of the last direct flight to Hong Kong, SAR China. The certificate must be in Chinese or English or accompanied by a written confirmation in Chinese or English issued by the health authority of the country of vaccination. The accepted vaccines are: Anhui Zhifei Longcom, AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), CanSinoBIO (Convidecia), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, IMBCAMS, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnity) ), BioKangtai, Sinopharm, Sinovac and Sputnik V.   1. Passengers are also required to present the green health declaration QR code obtained upon completion of the declaration (which can be a downloadable version of the QR code, screenshot or print) upon check-in for verification by the airline for boarding.
  2. The health declaration QR code will still be valid for 96 hours, i.e. the person entering can submit the declaration form three days before the scheduled arrival time in Hong Kong (for example, someone arriving in Hong Kong on Monday can submit the declaration form starting from the day Friday). They can then save time by updating the declaration further after getting a negative result from the Rapid antigen test.
  3. "Test-and-go" is enforced at Hong Kong International Airport, ie people entering will not be asked to wait for test results at the airport after undergoing specimen collection for nucleic acid testing. They can use public transportation or self-contained transportation to return to their home or hotel of choice.
  4. Quarantine conditions upon arrival in Hong Kong will be changed to "0+3", i.e. no mandatory quarantine is required. There will be three days of medical surveillance during which people who enter are free to exit but are required to comply with the Amber Code restrictions under the Vaccine Pass, followed by a four-day self-monitoring period and making the observation period 7 days in total.
  5. For incoming people who test positive by nucleic acid test or RAT, their Vaccine Pass will be changed to Code Red.

As of December 14, 2022
Someof the following requirements are lifted:

  1. Therequirement to scan the QR code of the "LeaveHomeSafe" place before entering public places
  2. Amber Code settings  in the  Vaccine Pass,
  3. PCRTest settings at the control point for people traveling to the Mainland and
  4. Arequirement for people in isolation at home to wear an electronic wristband.

Starting 29 December 2022

  1. All inbound person aged 3 years old and above, required to conduct Pre-Departure Test with negative result:
  2. Post-arrival PCR test have been lifted
  3. Inbound persons are advised to conduct daily rapid antigen test (RAT) until Day 5 after their arrival at Hong Kong.
  4. The arrangement for inbound persons to obtain a Provisional Vaccine Pass will cease.
  5. The requirement for non-Hong Kong residents to be fully vaccinated for boarding a flight to Hong Kong from overseas places will remain unchanged for the time being.

From 3 September 2022
Based on the information received from (Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) MOLIT and ICN Quarantine, here are the latest requirements for passengers entering Korea:

  1. No more confirmation results for Antigen or PCR tests before entering Korea

Start from October 1, 2022

  1. The obligation of PCR-Test 1 day after arrival has been revoked
  2. The use of the Q-CODE web ( https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/ ) is still in use according to the previous notice for filling out the Health Quarantine Questionnaire
  3. It is expected that all passengers already have a QR-Code from the Q-Code web before boarding on flights to ICN to facilitate inspection at arrival.
  4. In connection with it has been revoked the need to submit the results of the pre-departure PCR that is already running Currently , for the Health Questionnaire Form ( color Yellow ) does not need to be redistributed to pax during inflight. As a replacement, Passengers are required to have or have filled out the Q-Code system in the form of a QR Code
  5. The Check-in officer at the station departure towards ICN please do as follows
    • Inform to passengers before check-in so that passengers Required have or have filled out the Q-Code system in the form of a QR Code.
    • Provide leaflet (flyer) as a detail of information to the Passenger regarding the Q-Code.

All passengers arriving from China are required to

  1. Pre-entry COVID-19 test. PCR test carried out within 48 hours or antigen test carried out within 24 hours before departure to Korea
  2. Submit the test results on Q-CODE, and fill in the questionnaire correctly, especially in the part of the country visited before.
  3. The post-entry COVID-19 test is carried out independently 1 day after arriving in Korea
  4. The criteria for passengers originating from China are passengers flying from China or transiting from China or who have been in China in the last 7 days

  • The entry regulations related to COVID-19 have been revoked on July 6, 2022.
  • Passengers traveling to Australia do not need to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status.
  • Passengers traveling to Australia do not need to complete a Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD).
  • Passengers / Australian visa holders who have not been vaccinated do not need an exemption for travel to Australia.
  • People leaving Australia will not be asked to provide proof of their vaccination status
  • Passengers leaving Australia must comply with the travel regulations of the destination country.

  3. The Covid-19 test received is as follows:
    1. Nucleic Acid Amplification (NAA) test, including the following tests:
      • polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)
      • Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP)
      • Transcription mediated amplification (TMA)
    2. Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) administered and supervised by medical practitioners
    3. Serology or antibody tests are not permitted
  4. The antigen test results must contain the following information:
    1. Date and time the test was performed
    2. The name of the person concerned
    3. Type of COVID-19 test
    4. Brand or trademark of the test kit
    5. Results from the test
    6. Signature of the medical practitioner who issued the test results
  5. There is no obligation to provide test results in English
  6. Negative proof of Antigen / PCR test can be requested at any time either upon check-in and/or upon arrival in Australia.
  7. Unable to provide a negative result for the Covid-19 test may result in a maximum fine of AUD 8,250.-

Saudi Arabia

Passengers receiving Sinopharm or Sinovac must also have accept one dose AstraZeneca ( Covishield ), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca ( Vaxzevria ), Janssen, Moderna ( Spikevax ) or Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty) vaccines at least 14 days before departure .
  3. They must register at https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home , and must download Application Tawakkalna and filling a number of personal data information within 8 hours after arrival .
  4. Provision on does not apply to:
    • citizens of Saudi Arabia;
    • members family degrees first citizens of Saudi Arabia;
    • workers house ladder citizens of Saudi Arabia. They must accompanied by sponsors.
  5. Passengers must register on the following platforms :

Guangzhou (CAN)

  1. Passengers must complete an "Exit/Entry Health Declaration Form" and present a QR code before departure. The form can be obtained at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn/ or from the WeChat app 'Customs Passenger Fingertip Service'.
  2. Passengers entering or transiting through China (People's Rep.) must have a printed negative COVID-19 NAAT, PCR or RT-PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure. For more information about the timeframe requirement, please contact the Chinese embassy in the departure country. This does not apply to
    1. passengers younger than 3 years;
    2. passengers arriving on a direct flight from Macao (SAR China);
    3. passengers younger than 4 years arriving on a direct flight from Hong Kong (SAR China).
    4. passengers arriving from Hong Kong (SAR China) who in the past 7 days have only been in China (People's Rep.) , Hong Kong (SAR China) and Macao (SAR China).
  3. The test result must contain the following information :
    1. Time of the test or time of issue
    2. Testing method
    3. Test result
    4. Name and contact details of the testing institution
  4. The test certificate must be in English or the official language of the departure country
  5. Passengers must have test result in a hard copy
  6. Passengers are suggested to wear a mask throughout the flight and take good personal protection to reduce the risk of inspection
  7. Visas issued on or before 28 March 2020 are no longer valid.
  8. Visa exemption for nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Japan and Singapore with a normal passport is suspended.
  1. For domestic to international transit (connecting flights) passengers, they are advised to meet the of the transit airport requirements (refer to the table of domestic flight requirements above)
  2. Foreigners under 12 years old who will leave the Indonesian territory and have a transit/connecting domestic flight are not required to show a vaccine certificate, provided that they are accompanied by a parent with a negative RT-PCR test result (this not apply to domestic flight only with no connecting international flight)
  3. Foreigners who are not/yet vaccinated and are leaving the Indonesian territory through a transit/connecting domestic flight are not required to show a vaccine certificate, as long they do not leave the airport area during transit
  4. For outbound international flights (exiting Indonesia) with destination country that requires a RT-PCR test result, RT-PCR test must be done in one of health facilities listed below (except for specified destinations with specific requirements of health facilities from the destination country):
