This district is a haven lovers of games, anime, action figures, to AKB 48. You can try out the gachapon machine installed in shops along the Akihabara streets to try and get the mini figures. Don’t forget to drop by the Maid Cafe to experience dining while being accompanied by waitresses dressed in comics and cartoon-themed outfits.



For shopaholics, visiting Ginza is always a good idea. Dozens of shoppin malls, fashion boutiques, art galleries, theaters, museums, restaurants, and cafes are spread throughout this district. Make sure you bring your passport while shopping to get a tax deduction of 8 percent. Also remember to take photos along the Chuo Dori street, Harumi Dori, and stop by at the Winza Wako building, an icon that is the oldest building in Ginza, Tokyo. Once your shopping desires are met, you can stop by and dine at the various restaurants in Ginza.



This urban complex opened in 2003 and receives more than 40 million annual visitors from Japan and around the world. Within Roppongi Hills, over 200 commercial establishments from restaurants, shops, movie theaters, to an art museum can be found, all sporting state-of-the-art technologies. You can watch the works of art at the Mori Art museum on the 53rd floor and catch the Tokyo panoramic view and the Tokyo Tower from the Tokyo City View on the 52nd floor. Don’t forget to stop by TV Asahi Shop that offers souvenirs from animated characters like Doraemon, and dine at the teppanyaki restaurant, Keyakizaka, which is located inside the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.



Odaiba is a pleasant place to walk through while chilling as the sun is setting. Iconic buildings in the likes of Fuji TV, Telecom Center, Tokyo Big Sight, and a life-size Gundam are some of the reasons to visit Odaiba. For those of you who enjoy the beach and shopping, go to the Deck, a seafront shopping center at one of sides of Odaiba. You can also catch the Tokyo landscape as you walk through the Rainbow Bridge.



In one of Tokyo’s busiest districts with a train station that may be the most crowded in the world, you can indulge in the elegant and retro vibe of Japan. One activity is catching the performance at a local traditional theater in Suehirotei, which is made entirely of wood. Another tourist favourite is relaxing at the vast gardens at Shinjuku Gyoen amidst the Japanese Capital’s concrete jungle.
