Jurong Bird Park

Of all the places to escape the metropolitan buzz in Singapore, Jurong Bird Park is perhaps the only place to offer a different kind of buzz. It is the home of more than 5,000 birds across 400 species, and it spans over 20.3 hectares. Here, you can hike to the Waterfall Aviary or head off for an expedition at Penguin Coast.   1. Waterfall Aviary
    In area of more than two hectares, the Waterfall Aviary hosts the tallest man-made waterfall in the world, reaching 30 meters in height. It is the home to more than 600 birds from 50 species that fly freely within the aviary. You can take a break, enjoy the sounds of waterfall and the chirping birds, bliss. Don’t forget to take photo or selfies in front of the beautiful waterfall. You can also enjoy the exciting experience of feeding the birds at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm.

  3. Penguin Coast
    You don’t have to travel to Antarctica to meet these cute animals. Simply stop by at Penguin Coast inside the Jurong Bird Park and you can see the various species of penguins found in the indoor and outdoor confines. You can also get to know these aquatic birds further from the experts who share their knowledge of the cute flightless birds at the Penguin Coast.
