Cengkareng, May 1, 2017 – Minister of Transportation Republic of Indonesia Budi Karya Sumadi appreciates the readiness of operational services of Terminal 3 International of Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Garuda Indonesia. This was said by Budi Karya Sumadi after conducting working visitation of terminal 3 international operational flight service at Soekarno Hatta Airport.
During his visit, the Minister of Transportation ensured all aspects of Garuda Indonesia's service in Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport could running well starting from aircraft movement up to premium check in.
Meanwhile, President & CEO Garuda Indonesia Pahala N. Mansury revealed "Entering the first day of Garuda Indonesia international flight operation at Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta, until 18.00 this afternoon, Garuda Indonesia managed to record the level of flight on time performance (OTP) up to 94 percent".
"We are grateful to all relevant stakeholders, especially Angkasa Pura II and other operators of airport operational services that have fully supported the efforts to optimize the preparation of Garuda Indonesia flight service in Terminal 3 International."
“Today we fly at least 3200 passengers from and to Soekarno Hatta Airport for the international sector flight of Garuda Indonesia through at least 60 flights consisting of 17 international routes.”
"In line with the official operation of Garuda's flight service at Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta International Airport, we ensure that our operational performance on this first day will continue to improve, especially through intensive coordination with AP II and stakeholders," he said.
Meanwhile, President Director of Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin said "The smooth operation of Terminal 3 International today is part of the commitment and hard work of all management and employees of AP II, in particular the contribution of colleagues at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport".
"With the start of international flight operation in Terminal 3, the more convincing we are in towards the corporate vision of 'the smart connected airport in the region' and to make Soekarno-Hatta Airport as one of the supporting growth of tourism and support the economy of Indonesia," said Awaluddin.
