We advise passengers to check in at the airport at least 1 (one) hour before departure time for domestic departure and 2 (two) hours before departure time for international departure; however, it is even better to arrive at the airport earlier than expected.

City Check-in

City Check-in service is available at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office (domestic branch office) which available from 48 to 4 hours before departure time.

Phone Check-in

Passengers who possess a ticket can check in by telephone through the Garuda Indonesia Call Center. This service is available from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure.

Web Check-in

Garuda Indonesia Internet Check-in is an alternative check-in provided by Garuda Indonesia for Passenger to simplify check in via website. Available for domestic and international flight from:

All Station Domestic 48-2 hour prior to departure
All Station International 48-4 hour prior to departure

During the elimination of mass exodus periode (06 – 17 May 2021), Mobile, Web, & Kiosk Check-in are disabled for all routes.

Passengers can check in and make seat selection using Garuda Indonesia mobile app. This service is available for domestic and international flight, starts from:

Internet Check In, Mobile Check In, and Phone Check In services are not available for:

  • Passengers without purchased e-ticket
  • For infants under 2 years old not occupying a seat
  • Passengers who need special assistance at the airport e.g.) customer with pregnant condition, children aged less than 12 years old who travel alone, Unaccompanied Minor (UM), require a wheelchair, stretcher case, or other special handlings in airport.
  • Group booking (Passenger booked with more than 9 pax in 1 PNR)
  • For certain destinations with special regulations/requirements from local authorities, the Web Check-In facility, Mobile Check-In are disabled. And based on the latest regulations, the facilities for Web Check-In, Mobile Check-In for Flight destinations to Pontianak and Palangkaraya are temporarily disabled, and the Check-in process can only be done at the Airport Check-in counter.*

Garuda Indonesia and our check-in staff will not be liable in any way for any consequences arising out of your not having the required or valid travel documents.

Remember, it is passengers’ responsibility to arrive at the airport with enough time to complete all ticketing, baggage check and security clearance procedures to arrive at the gate ready to board.
