TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS WITH GARUDA INDONESIA

Starting June 13, 2023, they are no longer any mandatory entry restrictions for travel domestic & international with Garuda Indonesia, based on Circullar Letter Kementerian Perhubungan No.16 2023 Mengenai Protokol Kesehatan Pelaku Perjalanan Orang Dengan Transportasi Udara Pada Masa Transisi Endemi Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)  

All travellers on domestic flights and International flights to Indonesia should protect themselves personally from the transmission of Covid-19 :

  • It is recommended to continue carrying out the Covid-19 vaccination until the second booster or fourth dose, especially for people who have a high risk of contracting Covid-19.
  • It is permissible not to use a mask if in good health and not at risk of contracting or transmitting Covid-19 and it is advisable to continue to wear a properly covered mask if in an unwell condition or at risk of Covid-19, before and during travel and activities in public facilities.
  • It is advisable to carry hand sanitizer and/or use soap and running water to wash your hands regularly, especially if you have come into contact with objects that are used together.
  • For people who are unwell and at risk of contracting or transmitting Covid-19, it is recommended to keep their distance or avoid crowds of people to prevent transmission of Covid-19.
  • It is recommended to keep using the SATUSEHAT application to monitor personal health.

Saudi Arabia

  1. Passengers who have been in Iran in the past 14 days are not allowed entry.
  2. Passengers on a visit visa must have health insurance to cover the cost of COVID-19.
  3. Passengers with Hajj visas must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated. Accepted vaccines are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac and Sputnik V. China

Guangzhou (CAN)

  1. Passengers must complete an "Exit/Entry Health Declaration Form" and present a QR code before departure. The form can be obtained at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn/ or from the WeChat app 'Customs Passenger Fingertip Service'.
  2. Passengers entering or transiting through China (People's Rep.) must have a printed negative COVID-19 NAAT, PCR or RT-PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure. For more information about the timeframe requirement, please contact the Chinese embassy in the departure country. This does not apply to
    1. passengers younger than 3 years;
    2. passengers arriving on a direct flight from Macao (SAR China);
    3. passengers younger than 4 years arriving on a direct flight from Hong Kong (SAR China).
    4. passengers arriving from Hong Kong (SAR China) who in the past 7 days have only been in China (People's Rep.) , Hong Kong (SAR China) and Macao (SAR China).
  3. The test result must contain the following information :
    1. Time of the test or time of issue
    2. Testing method
    3. Test result
    4. Name and contact details of the testing institution
  4. The test certificate must be in English or the official language of the departure country
  5. Passengers must have test result in a hard copy
  6. Passengers are suggested to wear a mask throughout the flight and take good personal protection to reduce the risk of inspection
  7. Visas issued on or before 28 March 2020 are no longer valid.
  8. Visa exemption for nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Japan and Singapore with a normal passport is suspended.
